Awful Oral Min Shed. All I Do Is Shed!

I think the shedding is due to you dropping topical minoxidil cold turkey. I know they are both the same drug but the method of administration is different, you should have weened yourself off it gradually while simultaneously introducing oral minoxidil. The only thing you can do right now is ride it out, switching up or stopping your treatments will cause your hormones and endocrine system to fluctuate eradically and that can only do more harm that good. Be persistent, stay consistent and have faith.

I appreciate the encouraging words but it’s hard to have faith when all I’ve done is shed since trying to treat my hair loss. How long should I wait to switch over to duta and incorporate prp? I think once I’m 8 months into finasteride and 2.5 months on oral min and still see no new hairs growing and I continue to shed, I should switch.

That's too early man, you should give the oral minoxidil at least 4 months before you start to see improvement. This isn't building muscle, this is growing hair which takes alooot longer.
