Sometimes I use it to go out, after using Aveda pure abundance shampoo. It is a very small bottle (same size as Prox-n, aprox 60 ml). Inside you get a powder (sort of talk powder). You just apply it to your hands first, or directly to your hair (carefully) . Your hair gets a wet look for a few minutes. Then you wait, and you comb your hair, and it looks def. thicker - stronger. It is more difficult to comb your hair, it makes more "resistence" Also, it holds your hairstyle with a natural - not rigid look.
I don't know if it is a 16% thicker, but it definitely looks better, more textured. Don't expect something amazing like those photos before/after applying toppik. It is more subtle.
