'Hereditary hairloss can be blocked and new hair regrown'

That is their catch phrase.. let's break it up:

'Hereditary hairloss can be blocked' = Finastride

'new hair regrown' = Minoxidil.

Simple as that.

Hi Mate, my advice would be to stay away from these guys. I just had a look at the contact tab on their website and it outlines briefly what their regrowth program is. Heres what it says ....

You will receive 12(twelve) months supply of the "specialized prescribed topical solution" 12 X 100 ml bottles, all the hygiene products i.e: 8 vials of shampoo,2 vials of derma clean, 4 conditioners (for dry hair), 3 x120 special herb tablets and optionally a packet of 30 medical tablets, prescribed by your doctor . Your program will also include free consultation and regular check ups follow up and progress reviews for the next 25 years.

So it sounds like they will just give you minoxidil (possibly mixed with retin-A), Saw Palmetto (The special herb tablets mentioned) and either proscar or propecia (the optional packet of 30 medical tablets - probably proscar as this will last 4 months). This is certainly not worth $3500 and is much the same as Ashley and Martin's program at a similar cost. So basically it sounds like a rip off.

On the site they take a dig at Ashley and Martin, Clive Clinics & Advanced Hair without mentioning their names. In actual reality IHRB are probably just as bad.

Hi All,

It does sound like most of the stuff i could purchase of the net but he might have a mix that is down packed that works, i belive its worth it if it works he cant be as bad as the other companys as he has given me over 10 numbers of people that have been on the program to call.

Im going up to see them in about about 2 weeks and will let you know how it go's still not to sure yet??

Also im going on a 3 month chinese program with the hammer thing for you head (does cause some bleeding) but its belived that it increases blood flow and also she will be giving me herbal med with also accupuncture on my back as she says my blood is not healthy. She said i look very healthy (i was a body builder years ago) but just my insides arnt that good, she will fix my blood with herbal and accupunture, so i will also let everyone know how that go's.

cheers all...

hopefully we wont have to worrie to much if the cloning thing works, we will only have to have hair until 2010 (hopefully)

Ah.. a fellow ozzie! Here's a few tips to save you $3000 dollars..

Go to your GP, ask for a prescription for Proscar.

3 x 30 Tablet Proscar = $240
4 x Triple pack 5% Minoxidil = $240

And if you want to go that little bit extra, get some:

1) Generic thickening shampoo / conditioner (like from pantene)

2) Some nice wax hair product (either Amercian Crew or the Aussie brand Rockhard gel)

3) Goto minoxidil.com and order topical spironolactone!

I'll be perfectly frank - you are wasting your money, don't bother with those chinese herbal remedies, detox diets and massages.. THEY DON'T WORK!

I love how people take BEFORE PICS, and their hair is all slick and wet.

and the AFTER PICS their hair is all dry and frizzy.

Anyway not trying to sell s*it im just trying to get my life on track as it is hard going thin as you all know.

unless you get blown by one of the nurses every time you go in to get your 'herbal' preparations then just read up a little more here and do it for yourself cheaper.

I was a client of IHRB and sam cohen for 12 months. I lost $3700 plus other money on antibiotics i had to take due to a head rash from his products. This company operates unethically and is being exposed at IHRB-story.com

Go to this website if your in Australia, the guy is named Tony Pearce, he is about the only credible Hairloss researcher in Australia, read through his site and blogs, if you are going to trust anyone for help its him, he will basically tell you that the big3 is the only tried methods that will work, he has a pharmisist that can make you up some pretty good mixes of minoxidil that can be PG free or whatever you require, myself personally i use 5% with Retin-A but you can incorporate other stuff into it, upta you do not fall victim to flashy pictures, this guy is pretty much the only legit practioner in australia.

The after picture you posted looks like a wig.

If that place really did have a magical cure for baldness they wouldn't waste time on making people come into their office for it, they'd be mass producing it and selling it by the truckload all over the globe.

By the way, I realize now that part of the frustration is that we go to these hairloss specialists and expect great results. We all hope for the best. It seems that we are consumer, and few of us understand medical terms and fewer still understand legal terms. The contracts from these companies can be very tricky. Check out this educational site that explains how Sam Cohen and IHRB construct their contracts for hair loss and hair regrowth. The shopper should be very wary to really snap out of the excitement of more hair and think carefully about the fine print which changes the whole story. One minute they think that they are going to get hair growth, and then if they read the legal contract they see that the promised guarantee is not anything like they imagined. The site covers legal issues and also examines the costs and looks at finasteride, retin-A, minoxidil, and Loniten as well as organic shampoos. It is at http://ihrb-story.com

IHRB - Exposing the thruth about IHRB and SAM COHEN

I would like to make public a scam that has been going on for some time now. In the business of hair growing treatments there is a company operating that is just a plain old scam. This website describes the way they operate and how they succeed in making people bealive that they have the cure.http://www.ihrb-story.com

http://ihrb-story.com/
This is a quote from the website:
"
This site was created to help people to understand how Mr Sam Cohen and his company IHRB operate.

I was one of their clients for whom the treatment did not work. I was refused a refund, which I was originally promised would be forthcoming if the treatment did not work. I have since been told by Sam Cohen that he has never issued a refund to anyone despite some clients taking him to CTTT (Consumer, Trader & Tenancy Tribunal). In every tricky contract, there is one humdinger of a clause that the average consumer would never spot. Agatha Christie would be proud of Sam’s contract. I am neither a lawyer nor a doctor. However, in my opinion, as a consumer and observer, there is one aspect of his defence that is laughable. This is outlined in this article called ‘The jewel in the crown’.
