Just got a biopsy done and it shows both Telogen Effluvium as well as "prominent sebaceous units". I'm going through diffuse thinning on the top of my scalp, more in the front of my scalp.
Are these "prominent sebaceous units" - enlarged sebaceous glands if I understand them correctly - basically a surefire sign that I'm suffering from genetic Androgenic Alopecia?
About to hop on finasteride, but I don't want to find out later on that it was just Telogen Effluvium and some other thing that causes enlarged sebaceous glands.
Thanks for your time guys.
