Hi new user here.

I'm 39 with an egg in the nest and very thin at the front.

I have been doing a bit of research and came across The Designer Hair Company.

Has anyone heard of them. They are in Wakefield UK.

I have had a consultation with Total Cover and they can fit within 10 days!.

At designer hair I've a consultation next week. They have quoted £1200 for system and fit. It takes around 2 months to make as they are bespoke custom from the U.S. Then it's £60 every 6 weeks for cut and re fit. They say their systems last from 12 to 18 months!. Everything I read though says change a system after 3.

Can anyone help or advise on what they are saying.

Cheers

Tom

£1200 is seriously too much plus £60 every 6-weeks.

12-18 months seems a wild claim.

The best systems usually need replacing between 9 and 12 months.

To give you a comparison, I DIY and I spend a max of £350 a year including all the products and cuts and Im in London!

All systems originate from China so their claim is untrustworthy

TCP just alter an off the shelf piece without much finesse.

Hey thanks so much for replying.

I thought it was alot but I've compared the designer hair company and tcp and a place near me calles weaves and waves.

I'll post pics to show comparison. Weaves and Waves is £300, Designer Hair company is £1200!

Does anyone know anywhere good in the northwest I can get this done?

To put the re ordered straight, Farrell systems originate in the US not China.
The Weaves and Waves photo looks every bit of £300, not even blended in, different colour to the guys natural colour. Just totally wrong!

inesse.

Where do you get your systems from and what sort of quality. I've been doing DIY for a while now but my current supplier seems to have drastically reduced the quality =( ?
