Anyone have numb or tingling toes & fingers?

Hi folks.
I've been on Finasteride and Minoxidil for about 4 or 5 years now, and I'm sure it's saved my hair.

But for a couple of years, I've had worsening tingling and numbness in my fingers, but especially my toes. Now spreading under the soles if my feet too.

Sound familiar? My MRI scan was normal, as were my blood tests. BP isn't causing concern to my Doctor. B12 normal.

I'm thinking of reducing the dosages to see what happens.

So I've looked up side-effects of orally taken minoxidil and finasteride. There could be a neurological double-whammy happening with both.

Finasteride:
- Tingling in hands or feet (less common)

Minoxidil:
- Fluid retention, leading to...
- Swelling of feet or lower legs or ankles or hands (more common) leading to...
- Tingling or numbness in feet, hands or face (less common)

It all fits. So now I am trying:

Taking 1.25mg of Finasteride orally 3 days a week (instead of 7) (the pharmacy gives me 5mg tabs)

Reducing sodium still further, to off-set water retention

Considering splitting my 2.5gm of oral Minoxidil into 1.25gm in the morning, and 1.25gm in the evening.

I saw the latter approach re the Minoxidil suggested on a website listing side-effects. Does anyone have an opinion on a split dose?

Maybe reduce OM by half. Go see a neurologist.
