Hey folks. Have any of you put hair transplant plans on delay due to the economy? I was planning on doing a second procedure, which I think would really help (and that I need), but just making casual inquiries, it seems it is going to be tough to get a loan. I don't want to pay cash, because it would deplete my savings more than I care for right now.

Just curious if the economy is slowing down the hair transplant industry any?

Thoughts?

Most industries are affected by a downturn, so i'd say definitely

on that same note...Is it possible to negotiate prices for a hair transplant? Say knock it down a couple 1000 bucks. Has anyone tried this with success? Is the price is it what it is?

The best ones with long waiting lists are not going to be affected. I rang up Dr. Arvind's office and he still has a crazy 7 month waitlist. The not so great ones may start seeing vacant slots but I wouldnt go ahead with them if they did it for free.

Exactly. Thats one of the reasons I need no. 2. I went with a not-so-great one with number one. For number two, I have planned to go with a very well thought of surgeon.

I doubt people will want to put their hair transplant on hold. It would just be one more thing to be depressed about if they still have to look at their balding head everyday. I believe sometimes doing for something that will improve your self esteem is way more valuable than driving a luxury care or taking a luxury vacation. Sometimes you have to do things in the NOW, because you may not be here TOMORROW. Life is unpredictable and way too short sometimes.
