I've come across a few really bad armani results, and I hear alot get taken offline as he does deals with them, or trys to threaten them with lawsuits, shame most people are scared little pussies....but I bet there a lot more bad results out there! Makes me angry thinking about it.

Do you have pre op pics?

yes I do from both times. Of course my hair is thinning more and more over time. But even before the 2000 touch up, I had more hair. I will post later.

Why did you keep going back if it was'nt working?

I went back only once. The touch up was free of course. He said failing the second time was impossible. He actually said " I can't let you go out like that, you are a good person and only the hair missing, I will fix it, don't worry." He is such good sales person. I wish he sales tactics were as good as his fue.

I was desperate again. I made stupid decisions based on pride that I found a good doctor and didn't opt for the old fashioned strip method. My friend canceled on Armani, i was the guinea pig for 3 other guys. I went in very optimistic and believing that Armani could do wonders. My friends were very skeptical and I wasn't. I was actually excited that I got enough money to do a hair transplant. I had a plan to get a full head of hair before I reach 30. That plan became a disaster.

at least you don't have a strip scar.. it doesn't look all that horrible to me (not a good hair transplant, but you can live). You aren't disfigured.

Slap on some toppik.. or shave it down, and move on.. at least you frame your face with some hair. Not the end of the world.

BTW, he placed that hairline WAY too low. Just hope you don't lose any of that hair on top.

OF course I could live. you say move on. Its hard to move on when you spent 30K for nothing. In fact, there is nothing else I could do but move ON! I will either YES shave it OFF or salvage whatever I got with a specialist. I've contacted Hasson. Let's see if he could help me.

AND I HATE EFFIN TOPPIK!!! AND THANK YOU FOR STATING OBVIOUS CRAP.

Thats Armani for you now he's stuck with a Cristiano Ronaldo hairline but ridiculously thin ontop. :thumbdown2:
A decent surgeon would of given him a NW2 that would have meant more grafts for a more normal density ontop.

I look forward to seeing what H&W can do for you since I'm also in the same situation myself.

guess what? my hairline was good even before the hair transplant. Can you believe that. I always had a good hairline compare to everything else. I have cowlicks and it's genetic. Armani is crazy and still concentrated on the front hair line where is was already my best part. I trusted him blindly. After reading in forums about his wonder works during his FUSS years.

Now he says he will be going into cloning and stem cells. He is offering people some sort of stem cell injection too. Has anybody heard of this?

Look, i didn't mean to just brush this off. I know its horrible, and a huge waste of money.

Be level headed and approach this logically.. and step by step.

1) Get your money back from Armani. Do whatever you can.. Contract might screw you, but see what you can do. Also, what was his response after the second surgery failed? Perhaps its your physiology as well.. He had some botched strips.. he just does great marketing, but i personally always thought his work was way too aggressive.

2) Look into H&W like you say.. but with 6K donor gone, i don't see how adding a strip scar and probably not more than 2-3k more grafts would be a wise trade-off. Regardless, they are the people who you want to assess the situation, so see what they say.

3) Dealing with your hair now.. well.. do you have any white dot scarring? With 6K total grafts i would think you would, but who knows. I know toppik sucks.. but i use it every day and i pretty much fool everyone.. not optimal, but at least when i hit on girls they don't have the "eww he's bald" mentality towards me.. and i can look at myself and be somewhat at ease (but i still hate it too). I think you have a good head shape.. you have a framed look, which is nice, you just need density on the top. You also don't have bald spots. While H&W are assessing the situation, just see how you can best camoflauge it, or just shave the f****r down. Again - you have a nice head shape..

The reason he concentrates on the hairline is because most of his patients are young and have only a small amount of recession and they want NW1's.

I'd wait a while before opting for an new (unproven) procedure.

Thanks for coming back and sharing those pics. I ( AND MANY OTHERS) were banned from HLH a couple years back for asking too many questions about Armani and bashing his work and ethics. I feel very bad ( and so should farrel) if you would have maybe seen mine and please grow please's posts on HLH about Armani and maybe decided against surgery.

Anyway I know Armani's old deal was that in order to get the free touch up you had to sign releases stating you wouldn't post your results on any forums. Since Armani was exposed for doing this and having paid schills on the forums ( Pats 205, Shane and many others) I'm guessing he dropped the practice or you just don't care.

6K Fue did a job on your donor, I doubt anyone can get much out of it even via strip and certainly not enough to cover your head with that 18 year old hairline Armani planted.

I would forget any future work and thank god you didn't get strip, maybe consider lasering the grafts out.

BTW I'm guessing the 2000 FUE touchup was done in December 2008 as you have December 2009 written down.

Also if it was done in Dec 2008 your only 9 months out and you can get growth up until 18 months so you may get some growth

Dude this whole thing is so fucked up. Honestly Armani should have his medical license stripped for such procedures.

I mean the only bright side is that he's not disfigured in any way. That doesn't subtract from the fact that the guy paid for a procedure which didn't work AT ALL and made it worse.

For the record though, I would definitely stay away from strip. Your donor area isn't thick enough now to hide a scar, no matter how precise. Your only saving grace is that you still have the option to shave your head, and I'm not saying that makes it okay, because it doesn't, but it's all you have left given the limitations of current technology.

I can't pretend to know how frustrated you are and hope this somehow works out for you in the very near future. Good luck.

Let H&W determine how much they can get out of his donor now.. if he can get 4K out, it might greatly improve things. Sit tight and see what they say.

Even 2000 could be a worthwhile improvement, but the biggest problem is going to be that for months after the op (until you start seeing some growth come through.) Things will probably look like sh*t.

Even if the can get 5k from the back but that's not the point. The fact of the matter is, as we all know, the scar strip will leave isn't an exact science. So if it stretches even the slightest bit it's going to be noticeable at a short length.

I'm not trying to kill hope by any means but I'd rather throw some reality his way than have him hate his life because now he has to cover a strip scar by growing his hair longer than it should be with a poor result in the front and crown of his head.

I have a strip scar with which I am not happy, and it sucks...bottom line, it's worse than going bald. At least bald is a natural occurrence, the stigma of having a hair transplant is much worse than the stigma of going bald. While at this point without a strip scar if he shaves close he won't look bald he'll just look like that's how he keeps his hair.

I wish for him his situation never happened, I honestly wish it went as well as it could have and he'd never have to think about his hair again, but the fact remains that it didn't, and that's what he has to work with.

Fair enough... but you, nor I.. are doctors.. information is still information. Let the experts assess the case.. i pretty much have trust in H&W, but of course.. its still a business.. and he is a potential client. I'm very curious as to what they say. I just don't think there is any sense in ruling out the option.

He's NUTS if he gets a strip scar, 4k, 5k, even 6k could never cover his head with future loss with that low hairline Armani gave him

You've got a point but if he's stuck in a bad position now and not happy with it what's he got to lose?
Its a gamble of getting more improvement ontop in exchange for the strip scar in the donor area. But H&W are the best around so maybe he'll get a good scar thats hardly noticible.

Having a strip is not worse than being bald. If the surgery is done properly, the scar should be easily concealed with your donor hair cut to a reasonable length. Properly placed, 4 or 5,000 grafts are going to make a bald or balding guy look a lot better. How good it looks will depend upon the skill of the surgeon.

I agree 100%. I truly wish there were better options out there for him--hell for all of us. But at this point there aren't. A strip scar isn't easily covered by surrounding hair when you are aiming to keep it all short in order to make balding less noticeable.

And to say, "let's leave it up to a Doctor to decide" is an easy way to extend too much hope in a bleak situation. I'm not saying his situation is impossible. I'm only saying the odds aren't stacked in his favor at this point.

Hi all,

Latest updates,

I've received a very threatening letter from lawyers working for Armani.

Dr. Armani does not reply to my emails anymore.

It’s really a shame. I'm prepared to go the distance as I will visit him in his office in the near future.

I've been scolded in other forums for expressing myself and my opinion towards Dr. Armani. His ethics are very questionable and that is an extreme understatement. It seems this Doctor has become untouchable.

That raises the question, how many people out there work for him in some way or the other? I guess he can afford this by charging so much per graft.

It's been well over 10 months since my touch up and zero growth. Thank you Armani !!

I wish I do see growth at the 18 months mark.

Why should I consider removing the grafts by laser?

I'm not aware of any Dr. Armani pratices as I reside outside North America.
