Any Analysis Before Starting Finasteride?

Hello everyone!
I'm 19y11m old guy and I'm balding.
My previous threads here:

Right now my hair seems to thin on the top and I suppose I have to start Finasteride.
What should I do before starting it?
Any analysis for hormones?
Maybe do a phototrichogram?
Also asking for any advice how to start using Finasteride as safe as possible.

Get your hair measured by a hair densometer. You need to find a doctor who uses that to measure your progress. I would get your hormones checked before you start the medication.
