Yeah and a lot of people are pissed about that, including myself. I took mild antibiotics for a couple years for acne and when I stopped I was all fu(ked up immune system and GI wise for a few months.
So if you feel like getting sick a lot, and getting alternating bouts of the sh1ts and being stopped up, take antibiotics for a couple years.

Well its your body. My current doctor told me taking antibiotics is about as hard on your body ( mostly liver and kidneys ) as taking anabolic steroids. Would you take steroids for 2 years strait?

just like propecia.. doxycycline is approved by the FDA for long term.
I doubt by taking this medication it'll cause the same effects as abusing steriods for 2 years.. ya think?
also... think of all the docs that tell male pattern baldness patients that propecia should be avoided?
well i'll let you know if it helps me.-cj- said:I've been on Doxycycline for 6 months and was on Minocycline for a year and a half before that.
That probably explains why I've never had any inflammation.

I'm not going to go the full dose of twice daily. I'm going to just going to take 100 mg a day..
I'll let you know if it helps with inflamation.. hell.. it might help with hair loss???
I mean it's a fact that our own immune system is one of the causes of hair loss.. who knows.
