When you know that every woman constantly has the attention of hundreds of men, you know where you stand and what you're up against.

It also allows me to be less frustrated and angry. It's like knowing how much women hate baldness, you just kind of accept it and resign yourself at a point.

It doesn't always work like that.

One example, i had my chance with an over-average girl (considered as a 7 by the majority of guys i/she knows), if i thought she was unnaitanable before i started talking to her, i would've never got anything.

I think though that hitting on girls is lame anyway, i prefer to just be normal with the girl, without being overly friendly nor needy, then i'll only take a risk if i feel there is any chance (doesn't mean you can always guess, but it's better than going in a unknown territory)
