can i ask also about hairloss in the shower, i just washed my hair and i lost a lot of hair, however though i didn’t wash my hair for 4 days, i dont comb my hair at all, i wear a bonnet at night which almost completely prevents hair shedding at night and i have wavy hair meaning that usually dead hairs don’t shed but get stuck in my hair, also i took photos of my scalp afterwards while my hair was wet under a bright light and i couldn’t see my scalp, so with this information do you think that’s a normal amount of hairloss or is it something to worry about?
It's perfectly normal for men to lose 100-150 hairs every time they wash their hair! Once you switch to estrogen, hair loss will be virtually nonexistent.can i ask also about hairloss in the shower, i just washed my hair and i lost a lot of hair, however though i didn’t wash my hair for 4 days, i dont comb my hair at all, i wear a bonnet at night which almost completely prevents hair shedding at night and i have wavy hair meaning that usually dead hairs don’t shed but get stuck in my hair, also i took photos of my scalp afterwards while my hair was wet under a bright light and i couldn’t see my scalp, so with this information do you think that’s a normal amount of hairloss or is it something to worry about?

your hair will just get stringy and greasey and thin as the hairline slowly recedes into your early 20s. even if you take finasteride, test will make the hair unsightly if you have any predisposition to androgenetic alopecia. this was not fun for me, a person with mild gender dysphoria, so i turned to estrogen at 22 and am still living as a cis male 4 years later but with much better hair and a much better life. ymmv.i know that it’s just i want to know if i’ll start balding anytime soon if i dont go on estrogen
