Am I Balding Or Is This Something Else?

Hello, I’m not even 20 but I’ve begun to notice that one spot on my hairline has heavily thinned but everything else is totally unchanged. What could be the cause of this? Images are provided

It would be strange to see recession start in the middle as opposed to the temples but not impossible in terms of male pattern baldness, or it could be something entirely unrelated that has the potential to self resolve or better yet nothing at all. I would wait to see if it progresses before hitting the panic button and jumping on meds because it doesn't look like much now.
