My hair has been like this since birth. Same hairline since birth. I have clay in it. But am I experiencing or will experience hair loss?

I know some people might say you are, but IMO you aren't based on that dry pic that you posted. Hair looks thick.

Scalp is always going to show when you have gel in and take a picture under bright light. Especially when you have fine hair.

Yeah ig but when I was it it feels coarse at the crown. Medium on top. Fine on sides.
I think it's is telogen effluvium. Because I don't remember being able to see scalp till last year and that's when the anxiety started.

I don't think you have any hair loss.

It isn't really fine it's just above medium. All I've found is that it could be telogen effluvium. I've had severe anxiety for a year. My mom has had it for many years too.

So ur saying I am?

i believe yes, as your back is visible & crown area too. Telogen Effluvium causes diffused thining & CTE for prolonged stress.

others are saying its not, and honestly i’ll pray that i am wrong. i don’t want you or anyone to be a part of this curse.

No man you are perfect. Nothing to worry about. Excellent density. You seem to have fine hair but a lot of it. It is very very natural for scalp to show if you have wet hair.

You could be right but the top of my scalp and sides are the only places that have thinned. Mainly top. But all over thinning. As I say it wasn't like that a year ago. It was more medium textured and denser. My mother's father went thinned on his hairline and crown from stress. He died at 54 so that should say how stressed he was. And he didn't start till he was about 40. No one else in my family is bald. My dad's father has very slight thinning on the crown. What do u think of seeing a dermatologist?

But that's what's odd is that the hair on the top and back is medium textured. And the sides are fine. See what I replied to japnicks India for more explanation.
