I used the 5% for a few months but started noticing some of the sides such as facial bloating and redness of my hands. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on an alternative to the 5% liquid. I had great regrowth and thickening but the sides were too much. currently on propecia, nano, nizoral and I'm looking for a growth stimulant. I have tried tricommin in the past, and although my hair felt better while using it, I saw no real regrowth.

Dr. Proctor's prox-n or a keto cream, both are stimulants without minoxidil.

Nanogaine is meant to be like minoxidil but without the harshness that comes with it (no sides). I cant comment on it though as i have not used it.

Did you wash you hands after usage, and wiped your face if there was any minoxidil on your forehead etc?

Cuz maybe that was causing the sides.

I had the red hands as well, then I started using it with more caution. Now its fine :)
