My crown of my head literally looks like the same as yours but not as much diffuse thinning overall. How did you first notice your thinning as I am quite worried about mine aswell.
Here are some my pictures if you want to compares
Thank you!

Yours looks more like Male pattern baldness than diffuse thinning. A lot of your loss is primarily in the back, with the front starting to weaken. Diffused thinning doesn't really start in 1 spot like that, it is less noticeable at first because it is spaced out all over, where yours is noticeable even though you look relatively young and at the beginning of the hell.

Not sure what to do. Overall thinning. Using topical Finasteride for five months and it has gotten much worse. Too scared to stop but not sure it’s doing anything but making it worse.

My hair thinned out drastically in just 6-8 months. Weird part is hairline still looks normal-ish but no density and the center back is crazy thin. Losing 200-400 daily.

Any ideas? Would you stop the Finasteride?
Last image is six months ago. The other today. The hair has changed.

We’re in the same boat, bro. If you can’t tolerate oral finasteride, you might try experimental like RU or CB, but do your research thoroughly. Also possibly a growth stimulant, cause all those shed hairs are gonna come back thinner unless you encourage them not to. Keep us updated!

Frontal 3rd diffuse thinning I’d say. More common than you’d think.

what?? how is this "aggressive defuse thinning". You at most have thinner hair which is normal considering the massive variation in human hair.

Decided to update after being off dutasteride for 2 months; I have actually noticed nothing significant or drastic in overall changes. Seem to be shedding the exact same amount when I was on medication, roughly 15-20 hairs in the shower. My hair even looks the exact same before I decided to shave it off. Hair seems to be the same overall thickness while the hairline hasn’t moved since I was about 20. I will update again if I see my hair aggressively thinning or hairline receding even more. Last picture is dry hair and first two are with wet/damp hair.

Bro I think you quit too early. You should have given it at least a year to see how it works for you. 3 months is not enough imo.

Are there any real options if you aren’t able to tolerate Propecia?

I’ve been on topical for 7 months and I’d say it has only accelerated the diffuse thinning.

Long time no see everybody it’s almost been two years and dutasteride did it’s job and more. It actually thickened my hair up quite a bit although my hairline has never gotten better. I’ve been off of dutasteride for about 6 months due to personal issues, and have recently decided to go back on it due to losing some progress, but not all. Above I have added my current hair wet vs dry.

Thanks for the update. So how long did it take you to notice results the first time around? Looks like the last update you posted, you quit duta after 3 months.

Sorry for the confusion, I had quit duta after 3 months but decided to return to it around May of 2019. It took me like a year to notice my hair thickening up, it looked darker and a lot healthier.

Came back to update a year later. No sides and now have a full healthy head of hair. Keep fighting. Image included is last year vs now.

Be careful with DHT blockers. I would get your estrogen levels checked at least. The sides are quite subtle and not noticeable from day to day, but if you get levels actually measured you'll know where you are.
