I had terrible acne despite thousands spent on diet, clean eating, sugar free, gluten free, etc. Over the counter products, oxy, proactive, etc before seeing a dermatologist and using Accutane.

Cystic acne craters face. I would get cystic inflammation and hyper pigmentation. I decided to use prescription online or get it from a doctor.

Accutane ducked me up. Sick. Red skin. Lips Peel. Downer but it killed acne. I had shedding but, I dismissed it. I thought positive. Guys, it fucked me.

So, I am starting Rogaine. I am scared because of dude effects, libido, and hairloss.

Any tips appreciated. I wonder if I should have started 8years ago. At a certain point, I will shave it. I won't be that guy.

Weird. I had a little date it was great.i knew it was short term. The sec I accepted hairloss she grew distant. It's weird. It's a tricky thing. I want to build my psyche so I am strong when it happens.

Thanks for the help.

So, I just realized, my start date here was 2012. I definitely wish I started preventative treatment here.

Are you referring to minoxidil side effects ? Rogaine doesn't have any 'dude effects' nor does it affect libido. Likely worse case scenario is that you get some puffiness at the face and some tired eyes for a few hours after application. This is very manageable. Monitor your shedding for a week leading up to your first application of rogaine. If/when your hair loss increases within the first few weeks of rogaine use this is plausibly a sign that the rogaine is working! And if it's a lot of hair you shed then the rogaine is working well! The shed may be none the less traumatizing but you should ride it out and find a way to embrace it. Consistency with minoxidil leads to good results if you are a responder.

Well I saw warnings about blood pressure, shedding, and rashes. I am terrified. I don't know what to do. Like, if I let it grow out, will it leave a huge bald spot via shed? Should I go monk? If the rash isn't too bad, it can be a undercut and grow the rest.

It suck's man. I battle acne the first half if my life. I beat it with Accutane. Now, I battle this. I am single. Dating. Approaching. Swiping. I lost so much of my time with stupid stuff.

I feel sick. I lost a grandmother to stroke. A grandpa to heart attack. I saw warning about blood pressure. I will monitor it.

Thanks for the help. :(

Blood pressure warnings mostly apply to oral minoxidil not rogaine. You will only get a rash if you happen to be allergic, which isn't common. The worst you will likely encounter in terms of skin irritation are some dandruff flakes and with a decent shampoo are a non issue. Many do advise to grow your hair in order to hide aftermath of a shed and this is your decision but just keep in mind that longer hair will make it harder for the scalp to absorb topicals. You will just have to part the hair, apply your rogaine and then rub it in to assure it is not all soaking up into the hair itself rather than the target area (scalp and follicles). This is also very feasible. For this purpose most recommend longer hair = minoxidil liquid and short hair = minoxidil foam. Cut your hair however you see fit although I might suggest growing it out, and after you've seen the worst of the shed cutting your hair in a way to best remedy the loss. Just keep in mind that unless you are allergic any hair shed from minoxidil will grow back ! It just takes a little time.

Gratuitous advice would be to stop 'swiping' if your'e referring to tinder and the like because while you may feel comfortable dumping whatever version of yourself you can conjure up into a dating app biography, it actually does not exist. And anyone and everyone can smell it. The only thing that will give way to success in these scenarios are good photos that do not lie. If you can't procure these then you'd best sign off because your'e probably just ruining any chance you'd have with someone if you met them in real life. Context is most important and the only forgivable circumstances for tinder are that you're conventionally very attractive or that you spend too much time making money to even socialize. The act of creating a profile on such an app would suggest that you are something akin to- insecure, socially uncomfortable, often rejected, or that you have something to hide. Whether you are or not this creates an obstacle that is much harder to over come without the aforementioned photos. You may play it off that you don't care, are above these ideas, or that no one you have access to irl is peaking your interest but this is also very transparent and wouldn't generally raise your chances of success with anyone you'd deem worth your time any way. Dating apps almost always reek of desperation from the moment you create your account, no matter how clever or interesting you may project yourself to be.

I think I have the foam version. I have noticed receded hair in contrast to my high school days. I am 30. Not shocking. Since the start of the account here, I noticed it thinner. Like in some areas. For instance, it's thick at the base and not so much by the Crown. Closer to the Crown it looks thinner. I can see its spot. Like scalp
Is more noticeable in light. I am OCD since I notice similar stuff on much younger people but, I suppose more pronounced on myself.

I wonder how much better off I will be using or if I had never used Accutane. Stupid question since I won't ever know. I think with Accutane and steroids, if you have the male pattern baldness gene, you switch it up and into overdrive once you use said drugs. I used Accutane for bad skin. If I used steroids, I would feel that it was my own fault. I would be moon face if I didn't use Accutane. :(

Nobody meets anymore. I cold approach more then I swipe or online date. I do better at it since, no filters or anything fake. I prefer it. Unlike our parents generation, nobody introduces one another, and everyone is getting married. Friends, family, even younger people I know. I am not ready yet but I want to get laid and even see what happens.

You are right. It is a cuck fest. Dating Olympics. Everyone trying to beat the house like a casino. It's crummy to be at bars or clubs all the time. I met a girl like that at the bar and dated for a but until it got weird and she got too pushy. Been seeing a girl for a few weeks. It's done. I am pursuing a couple more. Women can out right ghost. It's weirder to that, even older brods have no common sense. Many women my age are acting like they are in high school. Another reason why I prefer much younger. Anyway, I like your advice. I still feel compelled to pursue.

So, I am applying this. I hope to dear God it works. I am worried about shedding. Like, an outrageous amount. I saw a site. It said 100 hairs. I will not make forty if that's the case.

I would be better off had I bought this year's ago. It warns about over using it. Likely, I will under use it. I am thinking of letting this 3 months ride out. If shedding is bad, I will do a undercut. Skin fade and grow the length.

I swear, I will not sport a birds nest or a terrible crop like the Prince. It is a shame because he looked great younger and with more hair. Even Harry is losing his hair. Goes to show, not even royalty is safe from the baldy curse.

Any tips for a noob applying it. How much can I expect to recover if anything? How much longer can I hope to maintain if any? I don't want to duck with my hormones. Again, I never used steroids. If I had, I would be to blame for this but, I didn't use any. I used stupid Accutane to prevent being moon face. Even still, I could rationalize what if?

Thanks guys.

Thanks for the help.

Rogaine. You shouldn't worry about libido side effects.

I thought you were taking something else.

You should worry about not getting permanent hair gains though.

Well, with age, nobody with male pattern baldness gene gets perma hair growth.

So, I am a few days in. Nearing five. I gave spun out a bit. I felt a little depressed about acknowledging hair loss.

On my life, I have lost so much, and I continue to lose. Unlike Elliott Rogers or that other crazy, I have chosen to live at my edge, to give my gifts, share my talents, and go out into the world. It's not been easy. More importantly, I need to make adjustments.

Yes I bought Rogaine, but I think other changes are for the betterment of my life and hair. From what my now on I will meditate minimum twenty min per day. I am cutting out sugars. No junk food. I am going to take three deep breathe when I get anxious or do a body scan. I am going to get a minimum of eight hours of sleep every day. I am working on lowering cortisol. If I have too much dht causing hair loss, I will put to use the testosterone and workout. By lowering cortisol the stress hormone, it will be one more thing to help me mitigate alternative factors causing hair loss unnecessarily. Finally, I am not sure what other remedies are available to me but, I am going to pursue alternative ways of being. I am thinking about it less. Going to be aware and cognizant of my overall well being.

Thanks guys. Any tips on application for a noob is appreciated.

So, it's been a few weeks since I started.

I have been experiencing headaches, weird chest pain, and strange hazy vision usually late at night. My plan is to monitor for side effects.

I am curious if this is a real thing or if I should be concerned. I intend to monitor my blood pressure once a week. I thought I would be using less. As it turns out, I have 5% Rogaine not 2%. I also might have used a bit much. I have a couple of spots at the vertex and at the front of my head. I am using my vanity mirror and I think it's getting better. I have been not noticing any shed. Maybe a odd hair. I don't know if I can improve this fast or if my hair has grown out a bit. I no longer sleep on my back. I don't want unnecessary stress or pressure on me or the crown.

I have 3months supply. It's pricey but, a transplant isn't in my budget. I don't know if there are any serious side effects. I am looking at buying a new shampoo and conditioner. Something all holistic and nutritional.

I am trying to find gratitude and appreciation for my hair. For however long I have it, I am going to enjoy it. I left the house today unhappy with my hair. Like, I couldn't style it well. Later tonight, I washed it and styled it nicely without product too.

It's weird but, I am noticing a tightness in my chest and under my armpits. Mostly on my left side. If this prolongs, I will get it checked out, and do tests.

Chest pain.... how many ml are you using per day?

Should probably cut down or stop, and see a doctor

Thanks. I am only thirty. I only know of my grandpa who was old who had heart attack. My grandma had a stroke. There's a warning. My parents are fine. My mom anyway. Dad and sister aren't here but that's different.

I am using a little. 1/4 cap size is a recommendation. I might have used too much initially but I thought I under used it. Should I stop or get checked out?

Probably a good idea to do both..........

Thanks. I noticed that feel again today.

I am thinking, I will either let my hair grow out a bit. If I get a birds nest or whatever, I will buzz it. I can get away with a undercut for a bit. I think it be easier for applying Rogaine. I just need to get checked out.

I felt off today. I only did a single application. I felt tightness. I am going to check my blood pressure. I note indefinite thinning and receding. The alternative is a undercut and fringes style like Tom hardy. That or messy spiky. I noticed every guys with receed looks like a faux hawk. Think younger Jude law Alfie.

Anyway, I likely need to get checked out. I don't think I will do anymore rogaibe until I know what's up?

I searched online. It seems I sm not the only one with issues. Its scary. I don't know what's to say to a doctors office. Its embarrassing.

Hey, I had cystic acne she, I took accutane. Its causing hair loss. I take the rogaine at thirty. Now,I am experienced chest pains. Talk about genetic disposition. :(

I got sex planned this week. I want this resolved before hand. It be awful to end up in cardiac arrest during.

In all this shitty stuff, cystic acne, depression, dead dad and duster, dead family friends, I've navigated it myself. No gf. No love. Its pretty dark guys.

I've listening to Jordan Peterson. He's helped me put my self together. Its not easy. I've fallen into that underworld. I've seen darkness before. I am learning about darkness, about incel, resentment, anger, and how deep that brabit hole goes. I probably have PTSD. I watched a loved ones eyrw go grey and their souo leave their body. Wtf is that?

I am searching for meaning. I always thought a family andbeife and kids were the path. I don't wish this on anybody.

I am aiming for the highest good. Shoulders back. Cleaning my room. Entering the world seeking to do good. Insm learning about integration of the shadow.

Thanks for the help guys.

Thats the thing. I have thick wavy hair.

I have skin damage from Accutane, from acne, and hair damage. Acne IMHO is anti inflammatory and the body's reaction or overreacting to something. For the life of me, I don't know what?

I saw a sort of high school and college reunion. It was shocking. Most guys were bald, balding, and many were struggling to handle it with any tact what so ever. One guy shaved it and it suits him. He's married. He has kids. It's was genetic.

It's not going to be something that I let ruin my life. I would say, I would have to enjoy what I have for hair for however long I have it. I want to focus on content creation, innovation, acquiring resources, assets, making money, pursuing self knowledge, and exploring consciousness. I want to visit Peru and go hiking but, more importantly, I am wanting to go see the shamans and do the tea ceremony. I want to integrate what Carl Jung refers to 'the shadow.' I want to aim for the the highest good, date, maybe have a wife, and kids like Psyched substance. His wife trips and is a great woman. At thirty, I definitely feel like time is against me which is my ego but also a little bit more reality.

I've lost a lot of a family. It was my sister's birthday recently. When I forgot, it upset me, and I didn't know. Part of loss, you let go, and then, you feel bad too.

There's nothing to do with hair loss if it's inevitable but, I have been using Rogaine 5%. I won't sport a birds nest. When it's time, it is gone but, I will pay for a good haircut.

Thanks guys.

So it's been a bit. I stopped and restarted. No heart problem for me. I wonder if 1. I used too much at 5% or 2. If it was psychosomatic, just in my head lol but, I'll monitor it cautiously.

I have been dating a bit. At thirty, it's gross as to what people think is acceptable. I told my buddy about a girl that I was seeing. I just said, it has a short time line, and it was going to play out. The night of, she was talking about how 'iron workers union gets off early Friday.' because she is an iron worker? She was saying stuff that was clearly a red flag. She has a gym membership, doesn't use it, and some of her clothes isn't fitting lol blames it shrinking. Now, by no means was she 'fat.' She wasn't fit and on the later side of twenty. She simply isn't wife material but, classic broad from tinder. Needless to say, I ghosted, and I have not looked back. It was a cuck session and I was out.

Pimping ain't easy boys. It's funny. I showed up to a date after a botched haircut. The date said she doesn't like bald/balding, and I just steered into the skid. Took it as a sh*t test. I was super confident despite the haircut. When it ended, she leaned into make out lol

I saw a old buddy recently after years and he was with a pretty hot gf. This buddy is bald as f. It is a very good reference point to have.

My hair looks healthier. I am eating more beets, sea food, avocado, and I supplement with Cooper and zinc. All of which is great for hair.
