About buzz cut

OK, I tried to find here an answer but without succes. So here is my question:

how do you buzz cut your hair? Going to a pro or yourself? If the latter, what this involves? Is it easy, risky, how do you do it and clean the mess?

I never did it alone and I am considering to, since having a pro do this becomes quickly expensive.

Any advice?

Well, I ended up buying this haircut kit. Very easy to use and very fast for me (NW7).

It is very easy. Just buy a hair clipper set, choose the grade you want and then buzz it off. You can do it in about 5 minutes.

I was afraid that with a common clipper set I would not be able to do this correctly without using two mirrors to see what I am doing. With the one I chose it is very easy: I just bend over the bathtub and start clipping. It took me probably less than three minutes (but two weeks ago I was to a pro for a buzz cut) and it is error-free. Plus there is no mess around since it is not needed to stay upright.
