**4 year finasteride anniversary update**

Checking back in since I was 22 years old (25 now almost 26) with my 1mg regimen of finasteride. I like checking in as many wonder what happens to those that become inactive on these forums. I have NOT had any side effects since I started (only watery semen at first).

Here was my first post ever here so you can compare my hairline (only place I have HairLoss).

Definitely a nw1 and judging by these pics compared to your old ones, it looks like your hair has thickened up.

My dad was about an NW2.5-NW3 at 28 years so I wanted to take preventive measures.

Looking good, prevention is absolutely key!.....quick question, do you still notice shed hairs at times. I know every sheds even non blading. Or maybe you don't pay attention anymore, did you have sheds during your treatments like most? Thanks

Definitely do shed as it’s normal. I do not lose anywhere near as many hairs as I used to though. I used to count my hairs in the shower but over time I just didn’t pay attention anymore as it had gone down a lot

When you comb your hair say after a shower do you have a few hairs in your comb, I know it's completely normal, but what on average would you see combing your hair wet... Thanks appreciate the info.

Understandable but you don't have any hair loss at this time. Hopefully, your body won't become too tolerant to the drug by the time you start showing signs of hair loss. The longer you are on it, the more likely it can happen.

Yea there’s definitely a little bit of hairs, but no where even near to before treatment. I would say less than 10-15 hairs
