4.5 Months Post Hair Transplant.. Disppointed Tbh

Had 2620 grafts transplanted for hairline lowering + temple points, 4.5 months ago with dr. Erdogan...

I’m really disappointed so far tbh... what do u guys think?

Yea the result doesn't look too good so far. It can still improve though up to 9 months and all your grafts have not sprouted yet. Its definitely not a stellar hair transplant but I'm sure it will get a bit better. The upside is you are now a little less bald.. I would try using minoxidil to thicken up your transplanted hairs, that could really help out the cosmetic significance of the hair.

To be honest 4.5 months isn't too long. One of the best updated threads is from a guy named yaz on hair restoration network forum and it took a long time for him to start looking better. He had his done with Dr. Erdogan too.

You definitely will. Dr. Erdgogan is an absolute artist. Don't worry about it and relax.

honestly your before pictures are pretty bad, terrible angles not showing the hairline at all, this makes it very hard to judge.

Please keep us updated. We never hear about bad or mediocre results from some of these surgeons but we know they exist. He's also a sponsored doctor on here so let's see where this thread goes.

Looks like you were a great candidate for hair transplant. Good hair characteristics and decent baseline.

Now it has been 8 MONTHS. Still absolutely TERRIBLE results. Havn't seen any new growth whatsoever the last 1-2 months. I could seriously have bought a hair transplant machine on ebay and let my friend do it for me, and got better results than this. 2620 grafts and yet the total amount of hair growth has been like 1000 strands?

I Went to Erdogan because guys on this forum recommended him and lauded him as a top surgeon, and now he destroyed my fkin hairline. Have to pull my original hair over to hide the transplanted hair because the density is so low. So fkin disappointed.

2620 grafts? That should definitely be a lot more dense. Did you lose much to shock loss?

Worse case scenario you can fix it, if the donor is available.

Compared to baseline there is an obvious improvement.. But for Dr Erdogan this isn't great.. I think many of your grafts failed to sprout which is evident in your after picture. Don't get discouraged though , I think you can still get the results you want if you get a second procedure.. It may seem like a cash grab but the best results usually come from 2 - 3 procedures.
