3rd day on Proscar = chest discomfort?

Today I take my 3rd Proscar dose (1.25mg part of the 4-pills 5mg), nothing sexual so far and I don't really expect anything in that department as well.

Problem is: I started to feel like some chest discomfort (not pain, just some pressing/discomfort) after like 18 hours of my very first dose, is this even normal? I know that everyone reacts differently, but as an average:

1) May this resolve with the continuous use of the drug?

2) Worst cases, if it is gyno (which I am concerned about), do its early symptoms really happen from the very first pill?

Note that the discomfort is not on the nipples or the tit itself but above it and in the middle of my chest...

It's probably nothing to worry about. Just stop thinking about it too much, I had some of the same **** when I began Propecia. I'm positive it's psychological.

I don't know... it's my 5th day today (took 1mg instead of 1.25) and the discomfort is still there, I cannot ignore it as it is really "physical"... I am thinking of stopping the med... :/

If it really is physical and is related to finasteride, it is most likely breast pain which you are mistaking for chest pain. finasteride has no major connection with your cardiovascular health. Anxiety can also cause chest pain, you may be scared of the finasteride :2gunsfiring_v1:

So what should I do? I am generally not scared of finasteride but I don't want to continue with the chest/breast discomfort (note that the very discomfort can mountain up to below the neck all the way down to the abdomen), what should I do? Quit finasteride since the 1st week?

I took my decision. I didn't take my usual dose today, I will currently stop until my chest/breasts/frontal area returns to its normal state. Then again I will re-start at .5 mg this time and see if I will ever get the discomfort feeling again.

Have I done anything bad already to my hair if I only took it for like 4 days? (Speed up shedding of any miniaturized hair that will never re-grow without finasteride now, etc...)
