30 year old 2500 graft FUE - What do you think?

Backstory: I am a 30 year old male who has been experiencing hair loss in the form of temple / corner hairline recession since the age of 20. I have taken finasteride inconsistently since 21, which may or may not have caused my hair loss to slow - either way, it’s been very gradually and slow moving. I’ve thought about getting a transplant for a few years but wanted to wait til age 30 before truly deciding. I’m now at that age and would like to lower my hairline at the corners and temple points just enough to be NW2 or maybe a little better but while still looking natural. I think I would prefer the FUE method over FUT as I would much rather have the smaller dispersed scars than a very noticeable straight like scar (if down the road at any older age, I do decide to do a buzz cut look).

Consultation: My initial online consultation has been through Hasson and Wong. They are recommending a 2500 graft FUE to slightly lower the corners of my hairline and restore some of my temple points. They are quoting me $20,450 after tax.

What do you guys think? Am I a decent candidate for this type of procedure? Does 2500 grafts seem sufficient? Are Hasson and Wong worth the considerable price tag?

Thanks in advance! I appreciate the guidance.

I would go to one of the best in Turkey instead. You can get the same quality of work for less money. Get a few more quotes. One is not enough. Show how you currently style your hair.

I guess I’m a little apprehensive to travel that far for the procedure, but if it saves more than a couple thousand I would be very inclined to. I will definitely look into the pricing over there. Who would be at the top of your list?

I usually style it like how it is in this picture.. usually looks decent and hides the recession adequately.

Thanks for your help!

I like Dr Pekiner. His work is just as good as Hasson and Wong. If you can still style it decent then take your time to decide which way to go. You have really good density so your results are mostly like going to be spectacular.

Right on, I will check him out. Very grateful that my hair loss has been very gradual thus far… has bought me way more time than I expected when I was 21.

Appreciate you saying that, helps bring me a step closer to pulling the trigger!
