Hello guys,

so recently I was curious about my hair since I have witnessed people in my age group losing their hair.

I decided to take a pic of my crown and I was shocked to see that I might be balding soon?

From the front please, it's hard to tell what norwood you are from this angle.

Looks like a norwood 0, but to be 100% sure I need a picture where you're pulling your hairline back.

Also, the first pictures don't look like thinning either. It looks like a cowlick.

thank you i appreciate your quick replies

i was afraid since my hair whorl area looked a little bare...
If you're really worried about your crown you should book an appointment with your dermatologist. You still have a juvenile hairline at age 27 so I seriously doubt you're going bald but going to a derm will make you less stressed.

I too thought I was balding in my crown area when I was around 13. I could see more scalp than you could but it's natural for some people's hair to stick up or face different directions in the crown area which makes the scalp visible.

This picture was taken today after showering, I am not sure if it is natural for the crown to look like this or is this a sign of hairfall?

hey man, im a fellow asian and i also got super anxious about the scalp visibility around the hair whorl. so much so that i eventually buzzed it to see if my crown was any thinner than other areas. it wasnt. the hair just goes in different directions, which sort of makes this natural and permanent parting within the region. also when it comes to hair density, asians usually dont have too much in this regard — which is why you can see a lot of scalp though it doesnt signify balding. on the other hand, caucasians have very dense hair but are way more susceptible to the balding gene. i posted about all this before and you could check them out. hope this helped you!
