Hey, I've always had sort of a mature hairline. Recently i guess I've been paying more and more attention to it. So, I thought I would ask. Does any thinning appear to be happening? My father is probably a 3V and my grandfather had a full head of hair. Just wondering what y'all think.

Think it is starting to thin.

You could start on Finasteride and Minoxidil together, and go back to Norwood zero.

Worst case, you would never have to worry.

Thanks for the reply. With that said, do I still look okay? I know it's hard to tell, but are meds necessary? Could I still be maturing?

Excellent density. I wish I had density like that. Hair looks great still in my opinion.

DoctorHouse, thanks man. Should I be worried about hair miniaturization on my hairline, is that a sign of anything - those small hairs?

His hair does look good. He does have good density.

What is your opinion on the second picture?

His temples appear to be receding.

If he starts now, he will ALWAYS have great hair. If he was a teenager, I would say no Finasteride.
But he's twenty three. He's old enough to start.

You are fortunate @DoctorHouse, in that your hair is good as well.

A question, if I may ask-What is/was your mother's father's hair like around age 50? IMHO, for your age now, you should enjoy and take confidence in its present status. If concerned, Minoxidil. Propecia, never, due to the potential, though very rare, for permanent ED.

Its normal at your age to see that when the hairline is maturing. I really would just watch it for 6 more months before doing anything.

I agree but I have been seeing men my age with great density with very little gray hair still and it makes me envious but I have to accept that I never had great density even when I was younger like these hispanics.

Gray hair is easy to fix though. I use just for gray (or the shampoo which they just made, it's
even easier.)

Just use it like shampoo/conditioner. In fact, I even like their new product even better.
