Looks like you have Side burn thinning too which is weird. Have you checked over your vitamins/minerals iron and thyroid? Its possible that it isnt male pattern baldness. Has your hair gotten any thinner the last few months in these areas hairline and Side burns?I don't know why my temple peaks look so abnormal, most temple peaks I see on the internet are thick, mine are thin even with long hair.
You have balding in your family bro? Or thinning? If yes then I guess being proactive is Good.Do you think there was a massive recession from 2020 to 2022? It's hard to tell for me because it looks different in every pic. I already got prescribed finasteride 5mg, but I'm just doubting if I'm truly balding or not, but I guess this confirms it...
Mario Lopez has DHT resistant hair and good genes. Your hair is definitely receding. If you want to save it, you will need finasteride. But is there even recession? I don't even know if that thinness in the temples are normal or miniaturization, why is my temple peak thin compared to my temples? Almost everyone's temple peaks are thick like this guy's

This makes it so f*****g hard for me to know if I'm thinning or not.
Are you Asian? Thanks guys, now I'm sure I've to take finasteride and also minoxidil too (at least until I see regrowth). Hopefully my hair lasts 10 or 20 years...
Where do you live? No, middle eastern (arab)
Are you still in lockdown? At least you have good hair transplant doctors where you live just in case.Canada
Rahal is one of the best. You got him in your country. Not lockdown but there are a few restrictions and still wear masks. I might do a hair transplant when I'm a bit older (and have more money) and get it done in a latin country. Canada's healthcare is pretty sh*t, they are very incompetent and expensive as f*** as well.
It's worth a try. You are still young enough and starting early enough.Would you think that finasteride + minoxidil might regrow my temples a bit or is hair transplant the only way?
In your situation... time is of the essence. You can always switch back to topical once you get the regrowth you want. Oral minoxidil will really make those thin hairs become thick again.Yeah, I just have to wait a few days until the finasteride comes (it's by delivery), hopefully it regrows, and I'll update soon by the end of the year or so.
Also, do you recommend oral minoxidil or topical? Never heard of oral.
I don't think you have to worry about that for now. You still have plenty of hair to save. I would never go to South America for a hair transplant. I would rather go to Turkey.I'm thinking of doing my hair transplant in a south american country where my cousin did it too. I didn't see his results, but I trust they are competent (and much cheaper). That's IF I'm tolerent to finasteride, if not, then it's over and I'll accept my fate as baldy NW7. I'll probably go there next year's summer.
What country is that? That country is where part of my family (and I) come from actually, which is why I'm thinking of doing it there as it's easier to get around. I'll go there next year as a visit/vacation and maybe I can go to the surgent and ask his opinion or something as well as seeing the result on my cousin, I'll see.
