So these are the areas most affected. I usually have my hair like the first couple images, but I am revealing my full parting and you can see different lightings make it look worse. So basically I am clearing up whether finasteride would work on these areas and do I apply Minoxidl on the parting and hairline where thin, aswell as crown or just crown?

Cheers guys.

I really want to man, but sides and stories I hear are stopping me. However I might just go for it. Also as for "full head of hair" I am receding and thinning at crown, not quite full is it haha
Search on YouTube Amiya prasad, he says he can stop and reverse hair loss, I'm not sure if he is legit but it might be something you might want to look into, I'm 19 and I got side effects from propecia, I might go for that..

What sides did you get from propecia?

I took it for around 3 weeks, I initially got sides after a few days of taking them but I thought they would go away, they didn't.
I got numb penis, a LOT weaker erections, loss of libido ,sensitive nipples. I think that's about it , they were enough for me to stop taking this shitty drug though.
I'm 90% recovered now tho I think .

Hi, I am a 20 year old male. For the last year and a bit I have pretty much not had one day not thinking about my hair. I never used to give a monkeys about it and it was always bad looking as I have always had quite thin/limp hair. Now I give a monkeys about my hair, and I am sure I am balding... Typical. Anyway enough with the sob story, my grandad on my mums side is bald, but has a very small forehead so it looks ok, my Dad is receding but has a full thick crown. I was wondering what the best option for me is as it is becoming so hard to style my hair and am getting very anxious all the time.

What do you experts recommend I should do as my crown is noticeably thinning I think. Sometime sit looks fine but this is in bright spaces.

Cheers.

Don't be depressed.

If you take action now, this won't be an issue later down the road.

If you don't, than you should be depressed. Just saying.

I am ready to take action so hopefully my next posts will be after I am on finasteride and Minoxidl.

However, I want to know from a serious point of view where am I on the balding scale and how alarmed should I be? 10 being the highest...

A note these pictures are taken in the evening after my hair gets greasy as i did not shampoo it on the time photos were taken.

Definitely at least a Norwood four.

Wtf? I am not good at the scale but is that what it is and if so is that too far gone for treatment??

It's not too late. You're starting at a good age. If you were in your thirties/fourties, I would say you're fucked.
You should try Finasteride, and for best results, add Minoxidil foam in addition to Finasteride.

People who use Finasteride have good results, but people who use both have better and faster results.

Norwood four starts when there is advanced hairline recession, and vertex baldness. It is very thin on top.

I'm just being honest with you. Not trying to be a dickhead, so please don't take it that way.

You should ask the Admin about that.

He has all of his hair. And he's old.

So he must be doing something right!

So I need to know from more people what norwood I am and how likely I can recover? I went to the doctors and they said hardly anything... they told me it may be the beginnigs but very early stages... to me it looks f*****g advanced. So can someone help me to understand where I am at and the likeliness of restoring with finasteride and minoxidil or do I need to add other vitamins or solutions?

Cheers guys!

So you say Norwood 2, which I was thinking but rclark said Norwood 4? I mean surely that is a big leap? I have mild thinning on the crown, visible in direct artificial light but not so in normal and quite deep temples like you say.

Would finasteride and minoxidil grow back the temples or just prevent it going further back?

That is advanced. In fact, your going from a "classic" male pattern Norwood 3 to Norwood 4.

Would get some finasteride and Minoxidil, if I were you.

Ouch! The crown also.. Yeah beginning of the worst.

Definitely jump on finasteride and minoxidil on hairline.

Early NW4.

That's what I was thinking.

This poor guy is only 20 as well. If he has it this bad now, and doesn't do anything, he will
be seriously fucked.

One the plus side, he can reverse it now (if he responds to meds).

You should ask the Admin about that.

He has all of his hair. And he's old.

So he must be doing something right!

And he had severe side effects and ignored them and still took the drug and got seriously fucked up.

That's not really cool, to call him out on that.

What's the guy supposed to do, create paranoia? Seriously.

It's just his own experience. Everybody is different.
