guess I’m just hoping it’s a Telogen Effluvium and will go away... shrug. Some guys online who had a similar reaction to yours stopped Fina and had regrowth, some posters never recovered and had permanent itching/diffuse thinning. Those cases did not sound pretty lol
Are there guys who've had a similar reaction? Increased body/facial hair and increased hair loss? I can't find any similar cases anywhere. What are the chances that it will grow back? I'm so depressed I feel like I've messed up my hair completely. Like if I hadn't started taking finasteride I'd have no hair loss at all at the crown and now I've just destroyed my hair. Wish I never started taking it :(

Look up buckthorn, dench on this site. Also google reflex hyperandronecity.

Actually probably don’t do that. Just gonna make you feel bad

Also exactly how I feel. Probably would have had just fine hair until around 40 and now pretty sure I won’t reach 30

At this stage I'm just praying I can stabilise it and stop it getting worse :( then get a hair transplant somewhere down the line when I can afford it. Crazy to think that 3 weeks ago I had no crown loss and was feeling optimistic about my hair and now suddenly in such a short space I've destroyed it. Hard to come to terms with

Ya try staying on it and see what happens. Maybe it will stabilize and you can happily post in the thread saying how glad you are that you stuck with it.

Personally if my current situation doesn’t reverse in a few months I may actually think about giving Fina another try, because at that point what is there to lose?

I was actually going to quit finasteride and try something else. You think that's a good idea? Or should I stick with it? I'm going to see a doctor on Monday and get some advice, hopefully get a blood test to check my dht levels which I'm now positive will show that they've gone up instead of down.
Oh and I just googled reflex hyperandronecity and you're right it's made me feel worse  it seems so rare I'm so mad that I've been unlucky enough to get it. My life's gone downhill so fast lol

The answer is I don’t know... I’m quitting and dealing with the itch the best I can. Zyrtec and anti-inflammatory supplements help some what but I still get the itchy crawly feeling. The people who did say it resolves generally say it got better at 3 months, or not at all. Fingers crossed!

Like I said maybe it’s better to ride it out, and in a few months you’ll have amazing regrowth. Who knows what the right answer is.

Yeah its so hard to tell. Hair loss is just one big guessing game and it's driving me crazy! But I'll see what my doctor tells me and take it from there I guess. I am now 99% sure I have reflex hyperandronecity though. Sucks :(
Anyway good luck to you man, hope it all works out for you. Keep us updated.

Hey man I’m gonna be trying seti and rogaine... trying to decide if I also want to give propecia a go.

How is your hair?

Not great, getting worse by the day. I researched a lot into RU and was pretty optimistic, then 3 days into it I started getting chest pains so had to stop.
Ordering some seti and PGE2 which should hopefully arrive soon. I'm praying I respond to it, pretty depressed right now but gonna keep looking for solutions.

Ah bummer. You still on propecia? Im thinking my regimine will be rogaine, 1g seti (with eventually increasing to 1.5), topical seti in stemoxydine, dermarolling and oral castor oil. Gonna look into Cb as well (if I have the cash). Will also consider pge, seems cheap

Can’t do ru because I work with children

Good luck dude

Ya man I’m pretty hopeful for seti. I guess I’ll be able to tell if my itching goes away.

I also really want to get my hands on some cb... it just seems hard to find

And restarting propecia for me will be a last resort, thinking I’d rather maybe do duta lol

Where are you going to buy your seti from?
