Hey guys! This is my first post here! I am 19 and balding real bad i ahve attached some pictures so that you can see how bad my hair is! I have been on finasteride for 2 months now! No real also i have scalp Psoriasis

I guess finasteride is working! I can see small hair's sprouting out ( about 2-3 cm long but considerably thin!). But let me se for more couple of months and will post an update! As far as side effects go...no real sides..ever everything is as it was!

Ok there is no receding but the density on right side is literally hell! You can see in the picture

Your hair is still pretty good. Good thing you started with finasteride early .. maybe also try with minoxidil - it could improve density.

I used minoxidil earlier for about 5 months...Had amazing thickening and regrowth but i guess it caused seborrheic dermatitis! That's why i discontinued and lost all gains!

Almost 3 months 15 days and no sides at all!

This drug is doing opposite to me! Erections are harder, beard is growing rapidly, get turned on by small things! This makes me think are tge fact the finasteride causes sides made up?

I would recommend everyone to try finasteride and if side occurred..conti con for some time snd if they do not go away, then discontinue! I will keep updating and i also take biotin 10 mg

It depends on the bodys hormone levels, that is what causes side effects when blocking DHT, now you and i and many others taking finasteride have a huge boost in free testosterone resulting in feeling better, more productive, having more energy and motivation etc

5 months almost 6, but no regrowth yet because of minoxidil, once i get the guts to quit minoxidil maybe i will see results from finasteride, but until i get the guts to quit minoxidil and deal with the awful telogen effluvium that comes after im pretty much stuck at square 1

Im currently on 4mg finasteride daily as a self experiment

4mg is for people with prostate cancer adding more wont improve your hair situation only doses less than 1mg will do that. You will only end up shrinking your prostate gland to old man levels and possible to impotency levels.

Minoxidil caused seborrheic dermatitis and later psoriasis! Thats why i stopped it..but last year at 6 month mark, i had almost doubled my hair density! Now i am trying finasteride!

I am also trying keeping a little amount of ketoconazole lotion overnight! I will see how much that will help
