Hi! I am a 17 years old boy who is really nervous about losing the hair in a too young age. I have allways had a m-shaped hairline as long as I can remember. I've seen pictures of myself from 2 years ago and it looks quite the same as right now.

Anyway I dont really know if i am overreacting or actually should do something. Like use Finasteride, Propocia, Menoxodil etc. What do you guys think?

Your pictures aren't the best of quality and what makes this harder is the fact you are blonde, making thinning harder to see. If your hairline has never been straight ( mine has not either) then it could just be the way your hairline is. Check your temple points, check to see if the hairs there are thinner and miniaturised. If not then you are not balding.

Every single person that is balding starts by saying this, or "my hair's always been thin" When you look back at child photos its unlikely your hairline was as pronounced

Its hard to say if you are balding currently, that hair may stay put for another 10 years and you have a good head of hair to play with. I'd recommend close monitoring and regular photos to track if anything is getting worse.

My hair has always been weird
My hair has always been sh*t
My hairline always has been pretty sh*t
I've always had thin hair
It's such a weird cowlick
It's just a mature hairline

Your point is that I only have a mature hairline?

Here are some more pictures of my hairline. The first pic is 2 years ago from when I am 15 years old. It looks a lot like my hairline today could that mean that I am not losing any hair? That it's just my normal hairline that is formed in this way?

If your hairline has always been like that, then I would say you're fine. The pics still aren't great but if you can't see thinning (particularly around the hairline, but in general) and you're sure that your hairline has not moved, all appears OK.

If I was you, I would take some pictures in good lighting and use them as a reference. Check your hair on a frequent basis and if anything changes, consider medication.

When i was 17 i went through this very similarly.

I noticed a thinning, a lackluster dulling of coloration, and my mother even noticed it.

It was exactly 2 years later that sure enough i was diffusing.

If i had to guess, i'd say that your hairline dimples look like you are thinning back rapidly.

I just realised this is what my hairline looks like when wet. In the picture am I under a bright light but this is what my hair looks like in every bathroom with the light above. Should I be worried about this? This is making me crazy right now I dont wanna lose the hair when im just 17 years old!

To be honest,I feel that you're thinning. The thinning is going inside of your hairline corners.:(:(

Your right temple is getting thinner and the thinning is going inside. I don't know if you're at the right age to start taking finasteride though. Wait for other users to chime in.

Go to a hairloss specialist and get a miniaturization test, can confirm that way

This.

Does look like you're thinning, sorry buddy. Good news is that, generally speaking, hairloss typically progresses at a slow rate so you can wait until you're 18 before going on any meds. Also, finasteride and minoxidil may very well take you to full density.
