Im 16 years old and im from asia so i have really fine hair. So recently my friend told me my hair was thinning and kept in laughing at me . so i took a mirror and checked . I was shocked as i could see a huge hole.in the middle of my head . However im not sure if its me being paranoid or something it would really help if someone could tell me.if im badling or its just my really fine hair . Getting really stressed out over this...
I went to a doctor and he said he wasnt sure if it was thin hair or early male pattern baldness

Honestly, that looks like the very beginning of male pattern baldness of the vertex. I don't think cowlicks are that big.

It is MBP, but it's easiest to treat at the vertex.

You have it on the right spot. If it's only there, you are lucky. Anything proven medication will
cure it.

Hey thanks so much for clearing it up for me do u think 2 sprays(0.25ml) of 5% minodoxil will cure /stop the male pattern baldness?
I rly dont want to be reliant on minodoxil and it isnt a pernemant cure

Try to find pictures of you when you were younger and see how it compares. I have seen toddlers with big cowlicks like that before so I wouldn't be shocked if it just your normal cowlick.

Dont think i have such pictures . This is why i need ur guys as im really confused on what its is.but for now im leaning more towards male pattern baldness.(not sure as my hairline is perfectly normal)

Father side males: all have male pattern baldness except my father just has a thin crown may be mbp also
Mother side :grandpa has male pattern baldness no siblings

In those shots it also looked like you have a type of double crown happening.

I also think it's male pattern baldness. Sorry to tell you this as you are very young.
