Hi Ive been on propecia for 16.5 months. regaine for 11 months....I didnt notice any change apart from the temples receiding slowly (there still NW1 1.5) my hair thinned on propecia for 11months....thickened up a little then the last 3/4 months is thinning again on top...the scalp is visibe and the middleline down the hair(centre) is so thin and wispy.....Is propecia not working. Im hoping on the stories where peoples hair have got thicker from 19 months / 2 years. :(

You might fall into that small percentage of people that doesn't benefit from Propecia/finasteride :dunno: .

You could:
Try other topicals
See if you get results from Dutasteride (I assume you know about dutasteride?)
Stop treatments and shave your head

You sound like a good candidate to add either some topical spironolactone or RU.

Propecia might be working in slowing things down, just not well enough to stop hairloss.

Maybe if you're on 1mg you could go up to 1.25mg, but i think your best bet is to add one of the above mentioned topicals
