15 Years Old Diffuse Or Just Clumping?

I’m a 15 year old asian male. For my hair I’ve noticed under direct light the roots look a little thin, however it seems to form clumps. I’m not sure if that factors into what I am seeing. The pictures I provided have some pretty direct lighting.

The pictures display my hair after a shower, you cna see the individual “curls” or “groups” they form. Another picture is my head damp, I dried it off before the picture.

What do you guys think? (Keep in mind the direct lighting)

Your hair looks just as mine and i am sure i am balding so i think you are too, Try nizoral 2% until ur 18 and then jump to finasteride if you want to save it.

You appear to be of Asian descent. A lot of asians I know tend to have fairly low density and relatively thin hair (though not balding thin), but have a lot of follicles. I've in particular noticed that Asians usually have more prominent crowns than any other racial group.

My dad just started balding and he is like 55. However when my hair is dry it doesn’t look too bad so I’m not sure.

However that is why I posted Becuase even though many have told me I don’t hair hairloss I’ve seen forums where they say wet hair like mine shows it. However I’ve had salon work done to my hair before, maybe it’s from the chemicals?

Middle part looks normal when hair is dry though. That’s what confuses me. I’d lack of vitamins a legit possibly?

Only thing wrong here are those god awful braids hahah, but you are fine kid. You're way too young to go on anything strong so for the time being just take biotin and all your other vitamins daily, could also try Nizoral shampoo 3x a week as it's very mild.

LMfao Ik my friend was trying to make me look like “an asian rapper”. Do you think it will get worse eventually or that it hasn’t changed at all and it’s just me being paranoid.

If so how long would you recommend me to wait to see if anything changes?

Use the shampoo and biotin, then at 18-20 check again with a dermatologist. I wouldn't touch anything like finasteride until at least 21 but I've heard of people going on it earlier. I don't recommend that at all. Your hair looks totally fine and normal, everyone can see more scalp if their hair is spiked up or wet.

I agree. I got a perm 6 months ago, don’t judge please lol, but I made my hair curly and I still have some ends thst are still effected. Maybe it’s that that causes my hair to clump and see so much scalp. After the perm I got mad paranoid and started noticing the smallest differences to my hair. I don’t think anything is wrong but I’m just always paranoid. I’ll use biotin for now. Thank you so much.
