1 year on finasteride 1.25mg and Nizoral 2% - 22 yrs old

No, look at the very first picture and it is blatantly obvious the temple is thinning. Im am only a NW2 but still have thinning temples/high hairline. Got my finasteride prescription from an IAHRS Doctor in my area who confirmed I had male pattern baldness last year

The reason you're probably not going to get overly excited responses is because you weren't THAT bad in the before photos. However, that being said, it looks like you had some improvement and you should be able to maintain for quite some time, and if you ever start to see any thinning in other critical areas -- the crown -- you can just add some minoxidil in there and you'll be just fine going forward.

I understand but to me I want to be a NW1. I already have a big forehead so any recession will make it look weirder

Mafia, No medication is going to give you back a NW1. Only a hair transplant can do that. Make sure you stay on finasteride and try to stabilize what you have now so when you get older you can get a hair transplant if you want your NW1. I know you how you feel. My hair line is almost identical to yours and I have the big forehead too. If I got my forehead reduced I would be much happier but with the proper hair style, I manage to camouflage it . I never realized how big my forehead was until I joined these forums. Your goal should be to maintain. That is realistic.

I appreciate your response and I understand there is not chance in me getting my hair back that I lost but I still hope to improve the thickness in my hairline and at least maintain if there is no regrowth. What have you done to keep your hairline?

We all want to be NW1's...there would be no need for a message board like this or any of the other ones if that were the case haha. We just have to do the best we can with what we've got, much like our penises. Hoping current non-surgical treatments will help you get your juvenile hairline back is very impractical. You're hair is far better off than a lot of men in the world and on this message board, myself included. I don't much like my forehead size either, but not much you can do aside from combing your hair forward and making that fivehead a forehead. Good luck with your treatment going forward.
