Looks good!
Why is it cheaper compared to others that are 9k or more for less grafts?

I've already commented on your great change! But this also goes to show that a transplanted Norwood 1 hairline will always look better than someone who has all his hair but hairline problems. I've always suspected this. Even if the density is not perfect with the transplant, there is symmetry and organised healthy grafts spread through out. A thinning hairline on the other hand would have asymmetry and miniaturised hairs of varying degrees which hampers styling and registers as balding more to others. Norwood 2.5 guys doing transplants can dense pack the hell out of those corners especially with good hair calibre, to the point where it looks better than most full heads.

6k grafts is alot i must say for one session...it looks real good i must say your hair mate very good.

they say only recommended as max grafts of 3k and any more is risky for the donor area and the graft survival rate etc

yes mate im norwood 6 so it would mean another op in 12 months time i bet. ;0(

where as norwood 6 like me then think its pointless lol

Go for it if you have enough donor and decent hair calibre, or just do it with a buzz cut look which is achievable by all. Key is a good surgeon who specialises in advanced hair loss - will make the most out of your grafts and distribute them well. OP I think went to some unknown guy but lucked out and had excellent hair calibre - not the recommended route as you want to increase the odds especially when you're that bald!

Yeah, if it turns out right. I'd have to see his hairline close up, high resolution. And even then in person it's going to give a different look. I might be wrong, but it seems to look a bit on the pluggy side.

Hmm. He's already shown his hair in outdoor lighting on other threads which is the gold standard. Is it a little bit thin? Sure, but the guy was a Norwood 6 for god's sake lets be realistic on this epic change! He literally is the poster boy for transplant results for such cases since most don't even get anywhere as close as him with transplants or even bother as they know it's futile. I've seen too many results online in the past or in person to think otherwise about this result.

His hair calibre gave him this result and that thickness of each hair and little lack of density too can create slight pluggyness but it's a tiny trade off. Objectively he has a nice head of hair now and that's how he'll be seen in the public eye, no doubt. I'm saying that as a former Norwood 2.5 (who only had corner problems with the rest intact) and became Norwood 1 with a dense pack. I can still see his result as very good. Didn't you say your hair was a wreck on top and hairline wise? How does yours look in person, close up, high resolution in comparison to his? He's also slicked it up with product and without a combover. I'm willing to bet yours looks much worse and registers as balding from a distance let alone close up. Have you shared any pictures like he has or I did? It seems you are coping or have BDD and that is manifesting in your comment about this thread. This guy probably still has some grafts as well if he decided to use them (I wouldn't bother in his situation).

Looks great. I’ve just returned from my surgery at cosmedica 3 weeks ago. Do you have any pics before and after of the donor area? How long was your donor area red and when did it heal/grow back. That’s my main concern right now.

Frankly, this is amazing. I recently dropped $13,500 (US) for my FUT (roughly 3200-3400 grafts) and hope it turns out anywhere near your results.
