Check out this article from The New York Times

Aren't all these medications immunosuppressants? As someone with 2 autoimmune diseases, from my experience the treatments are pretty pathetic and I don't see much progress made, just like with male pattern baldness. At least what they do have works a bit better than the male pattern baldness treatments.

Serum Paroxonase 1 level may be an Indicator and Predictor of the Severity of Androgenetic Alopecia

Not consistently. I lost interest a bit because I expected some sort of changes to take place in 4 months but didn't notice anything. I know that's a short time frame, but I expect to see at least something, or reduction in shedding. To be fair, I also have concerns about my liver so was...

The real cause of male pattern baldness - Discovered and explained

Another question. How come from my observation (could be false), guys with low hairline, thick hair texture and certain ethnicities seem more prone to female pattern hair loss? FPHL doesn't seem as common in Caucasian men as in Mediterranean, Arab, Indian and Chinese men for example.

Still the same as 25 years ago, except now people are taking Minoxidil oral and Finasteride topical.

21M It never began for me. If you look anything close to it,and is 5'6'' or shorter,it is completely over.

You are good looking. Eyes are nice, good skin type that will age well, strong but defined nose... The canthal tilt you mention is not unattractive - there are attractive celebrities with similar. Focus on enjoying your life for now, and save some money up if your chin bothers you so much...

is it possible for a transplant to look natural at all?

I could be wrong, but when I see these kind of results I often think it's 50% finasteride, which the candidate they selected wasn't taking prior. Almost too good to be true.

Kind of weird when you realise you cannot style your hair anymore

I mean, not really. I have long hair which I wear in a middle part and manage to make it look thick and wavy with strategic styling (Jared Leto-esque). You can't tell that my temples are fucked because they're covered, and the crown looks fine. On the other hand, if I buzz, I look like a DUPA...

Published in Nature: Weekly treatment with SAMiRNA targeting the androgen receptor ameliorates androgenetic alopecia

Maintenance is overrated though, especially in these short-term studies. Some people more or less 'maintain' for 10 years with no treatment. If it can give at least 5% regrowth that would be something to talk about, so hopefully it delivers regrowth even if minor.

What happened to Latanoprost after all these years?

If you read the study I shared on Bimatoprost, it seems the vehicle has a huge bearing on the result (ethanol vehicle not very useful)...

Is there a good hair transplant surgeon in North India

There are two good clinics: Darling Buds Clinic (Chandigarh) Eugenix Hair Sciences Darling Buds may be closer to you, but I would personally go with Eugenix based on their extremely impressive results. They have a clinic in Gurgaon.

Serum Paroxonase 1 level may be an Indicator and Predictor of the Severity of Androgenetic Alopecia

I started on Pomegranate extract on the basis of increasing paroxonase and progesterone. Apparently it's not a simple matter whether Pomegranate is estrogenic. It reduces estradiol and acts as a SERM, and in women reduces both Estrone and Testosterone. If it were estrogenic though, I don't know...
