I personally hope this moves along quick as a treatment that could be of more convenience in Europe. It is also a different approach / pathway than other compounds and treatments being developed...
I agree it is painfully slow progress in the small picture, but as more research is being done on stem cells and genetics, we might find ourselves not needing to understand the exact cause or mechanism of a specific desease, but can still treat the condition. For instance, many are being cured...

They are not releasing 5 year efficacy data. They stated that they will release 24 month data for efficacy and 5 year data for safety, which they have done now.
Also, it's funny how every time a company releases some news about their products and treatments we are left with even more questions...
I liked your post before watching the video, as I have been very fascinated with CRISPR for a while now, and I do believe our generation will probably be the last where death by age related causes is more or less by choice. But the way you write your post is pure poetry

What is going with samumed? I believe their SM04554 should restore the wnt agonist / antagonist balance.
