i dont agree that one should take the higher dose only because the side effects are same. the lower dose should be the 1st choice. its mentioned there. "usually" .1 mg which could become .5mg.

you guessed wrong. the dosage is usually .1mg. its mentioned above. and you could up it to .5mg if its not working

because i dont plan to hop on the .5mg without trying the lower dose 1st in case finasteride fails

i dont take any drug without reading fully its leaflet. i wont take this one either without seeing its leaflet and knowing its content. having undergone studies and approved doesnt bar the need of a leaflet. those studies are meant to lead to a leaflet.

that would be good as it would provide guidance as to the dose. im not against the drug. just believe that any drug should state the administration through leaflets. there isnt a reason why not if the drug is effective.

maybe you can share that leaflet from korea or japan ? maybe there isnt one ?

id like to see the leaflet stating its for treating baldness and the dose thereof. im against using drugs as off-label because your conjecturing the dose. the studies done dont replace the leaflet imho.
