    Happier than ever

Hi, I used to peruse these forums often.. everyday I'd scrutinise my head of hair in the mirror and my heart would sink. It was killing me. You all know the feeling. It was an obsession and I was depressed. I spent probably over two thousand dollars on minoxidil, finasteride, spironolactone, etc etc.. over...

reality check, just some introspection about baldness

There is no doubt about it.. hair loss especially at a young age is tough and unfair. But these days, with a shaved head looming, I'm trying to look at it as a blessing in disguise...trying to at least see SOME positive. I feel like I'm going to have to really try a lot harder now to be a...

    Photoshopped me SHINY!

Yep. And who cares anyway.. I 100% guarantee you the confident bald glasses wearing version of a guy who values himself and shows that in his character and achievements will have far more success, not just with women, but in life, than a mopey insecure whiney b**ch with a decent head of hair...

    Photoshopped me SHINY!

this is it now.. actually more diffused thin than it looks in this pic.. obviously right now I'm definitely holding onto it. But I'm tapering off the drugs (which have regained a lot this year), so I'm just mentally preparing for the shave once I get too diffuse/sick of caring any more...

    Photoshopped me SHINY!

I'm getting close to thinking about shaving.. maybe not right down to skin but a very low buzz.. ive never done it before, so today I did a quick photoshop of two photos i could find to make me a slaphead to suss it out. It looks quite..err..different. I cant tell objectively what its like. Do...

A minoxidil warning - Evidence minoxidil causes eye circles, wrinkles and bad skin

Great reply, really appreciate it thanks. My reaction was certainly not as allergic like that.. I had some itching to begin which subsided then its just been a gradual degradation process. No weight loss or any other sides. At this stage Im going to just lower my dose to once every two days...

A minoxidil warning - Evidence minoxidil causes eye circles, wrinkles and bad skin

I'm not going to play this game with someone who's made 2500 posts in a hair loss forum, you've obviously got a warped perspective or alternate agenda. I'm out. Peace.

A minoxidil warning - Evidence minoxidil causes eye circles, wrinkles and bad skin

The first time I experienced eye issues was a few months into using minoxidil when i was 20, so that was not "general ageing". When I resumed minoxidil this year, the lines came back within a month. I don't see it as a coincidence. I've been on retinol and a skin vitamin this year, more water intake...

A minoxidil warning - Evidence minoxidil causes eye circles, wrinkles and bad skin

I had amazing success with minoxidil.. it gave me back about a year of hair. So your theory makes no sense. You guys spend so much time on these boards and all push these drugs so hard and are so unwilling to accept anyone complain about "unscientifically proven" side effects, I can't help but think...

A minoxidil warning - Evidence minoxidil causes eye circles, wrinkles and bad skin

I can and will blame it on minoxidil because it has happened to me twice now, both in line with my use of minoxidil, the first time at a very young age. Many others report this side, and I have also provided photographic evidence. But yes I like to waste my time coming on hairloss message boards...
