    Am I a non responder?

I'm one of the gals who, on occasion, posts here. As to Propecia, if you're a diffuse thinner, I think it might not work for you. For most men who do well on propecia, it's because they have male patterned balding...temples, crown, and vertex. I don't say this w/absolute certainty, but please...

    suicide attempt

Guys Take it from an old lady like me, DON"T KILL YOURSELF. Life will turn out OK for you. There are PLENTY of women out there who would love a guy w/or w/o hair. Plenty of men w/full heads of hair shave their heads anyway, which is tantamount to the bald look (my 24 year old son is one of them...

    Foam ate hairline??

metalheaddude From your other posts, I thought you didn't like the foam...said it made the thin area look thinner. I was surprised to read you're still doing foam and that your hair is coming back w/a vengeance. Congrats, and could you please tell us more about your regrowth...location...

Response timeline experience for the foam?

I'm on Rogaine foam since august 18. So far, only have increase in body hair. There might be some scalp regrowth, it's hard to tell at this point, but I'm always searching for it

    Unwanted Growth

xeO Did you get any scalp hair growth from the Rogaine ? I've been on the foam since August 18, and I'm finding more body hair...still waiting for scalp hair. I'm thinking body hair is a good sign, and precursor for scalp hair

    Month 8 on Foam

Finish Line---Do you use VersaFoam along with Rogaine Foam ? I read that Versafoam helps meds have better absorption transdermally

    Is your hairline...?

Sleeping and rubbing that spot might cause traction alopecia

    Is your hairline...?

Yes, worse on the side I sleep on...right side. But I take after my mom, who is a back sleeper, and her right side is also worse. So who knows if there's a sleep connection to hair loss Susan

    my hairline is coming down

1750 Thanks again.Remox w/o progesterone might be a good choice. I already take estrogen and progesterone, so don't want to add more progest

    my hairline is coming down

1750 Thanks so much, you have a lot of useful info in this thread. I checked out minoxidil.com, maybe I'll try Xandrox. The minoxidil plus retin-a will probably be too drying for my scalp. I'm post-menopausal, and have dry skin issues (yes, I know this is a mens' hair loss site, but I visit here...
