What about after the shedding period, would the hair grow back and the oral be as effective as liquid?

I'm currently applying 3ml x 2 topical daily and now considering switching to 2.5mg x 2 oral but worried I'd either have initial shedding or lose ground. Can anyone please share your experience?

Based from my experience you'll continue to get thickening and then it'll taper off after one year. There will be intermittent shedding but overall, dutasteride (Avodart) works much better than finasteride. Stay with Avodart...

Looks like you're making great progress. I'm on dutasteride and month 9 was when my hair started to thicken up as well.

Breckenridge pharma generic was very effective sadly they discontinued their dutasteride. Avodart is expensive af but i can't take anymore chances with the current generic manufacturers. I recently purchased some avodart from Inhouse but will end up stashing them away and buying them locally.

Thanks shwareb. The ones here in the US has the same imprint but red color. I guess GSK prints it grey in Europe. Btw, how's your progress on Avodart?

I agree with you on some meds but with the current generic dutasteride, there is a difference...just my experience.

I can easily get generic dutasteride here in the US and for cheap...the thing is they suck! Well for me Avodart is much more effective.

I meant to say Avodart (not Dutasteride) in the title. With the high cost of avodart in the US, i'm tempted to take a chance with Inhouse Pharmacy but would like to get some reviews here if possible. Thanks!
