UPDATE 4.5 YEARS ON finasteride Restarted minoxidil on temples. No noticable shedding. Although hair has lost volume since 1st year of using the meds. My facial hair has still not come in fully. You're closer to nw3 actually than nw2. The temples are very thin and vertex has diffused too. The island is pretty thick though. Try growing it out. It might look good

For me it's been 6 months on finasteride and I'm finally seeing results. Hair loss has reduced drastically from around 70-80 hair to 4-5. Vertex has thickened up and I can see vellus hair on hairline

You have to be patient. Finasteride requires at least 6 months of usage before evaluation. People get results even after the one year mark. The important thing is to be patient. It is all about the waiting game. Hang in there
