I forgot to mention that i did that for approx 6 months and (1st 2 months once/week with .5mm, last 4 months 2x/week alternating 1.5mm and 1.25mm) and saw no results. I honestly think i lost more hair during that time and just recently stopped. I was afraid of causing scar tissue.

i only recently heard about oral minoxidil. Is it available OTC or only prescribed? Something i may consider because it's easier than applying topical version. I actually used castor oil on my hair a couple of times but find it's too thick to apply. Didn't know an oral version is available as well.
