    Dutasteride

XL, If you don't mind me saying, just because ONE patient has experienced gyno doesn't mean everyone or infact anyone else will. You can read the clinical side-effects of Dutasteride and Finasteride (approved by the FDA) and gyno is present in a VERY small percentage. I have been on the...

    Dutasteride

Dutasteride alone *probably* won't cause gyno. It actually raises serum testosterone levels around 20% (still within normal levels). 100mg spironolactone is not a big dose and may help to offset the rising T levels. The problem is estrogen which rises anyway with Dutasteride. I may not start spironolactone again...

    Dutasteride

13 weeks on 1mg Dutasteride (plus minoxidil and Folligen) Well guys I have now been on 1mg Dutasteride, 5% Minoxidil (once daily) and Folligen (once daily) for 13 weeks and results are no different to when I was on Finasteride 5mg per day (which I was using with 100mg oral spironolactone off and on too). I...

    Dutasteride

Kebabman, Good to hear from you too and good luck in the US. I am scheduled for my final hair transplant surgery in mid April with Hasson & Wong (in Vancouver). They too do excellent work and I am going for about 1,500 grafts to the frontal/mid section. Should make everything look pretty good when...

    Dutasteride

Actually, International Pharmacy charge £171 for 100 pills working out at £51.30 a month, cheaper than QHI I believe.

    Dutasteride

pete to Kebabman Kebabman, Best place I have seen is http://www.internationalpharmacy.com which sells 100 pills for around £190 (approx £60 a months) which is as good as I have seen. Hope you guys are doing ok, I've not been in here a while! For the record, I've been on Dutasteride 1mg...

    Dutasteride

HairLossTalk.com, I will take some pics if my mate with his camera ever gets his butt round my house! Troy, I am stopping the cocktail treatment when Dutasteride arrives. My Loniten and spironolactone is nearly out now anyway. After that it will be 5% minoxidil twice daily, Tricomin after a shower, Dutasteride...

    Dutasteride

hi Troy, how you doing mate? I'm doing ok, not been on the forums for a while as my regimen has been pretty settled: Loniten 5mg, Finasteride 5mg, Folligen and 100mg spironolactone daily. It's been like that for about 6 months now. Not a great deal of growth, but no more loss, bit of thickening up at...

    Dutasteride

Well after much speculation, research, waiting, highs, lows, etc, I have FINALLY placed my order for Dutasteride (100 x 0.5mg) from MensPharmacy. It cost $425 plus $7.50 p&p and I suppose if I wait I may be able to get it cheaper. But I figure I've waited long enough so I'm taking the plunge...

    Hair Transplant

DHI's no touch technique is not like Woods or Gho. It simply means using a needle to implant the grafts to gain added density. You'll still get a scar at the back if you go to DHI. I have been to them, December 2000. They do good work but the donor scar was poor (I have had it corrected since)...

    Folligen

I tried Revivogen for about 9 months last year. It is difficult to tell if it did much but I didn't lose much while using it. I think the fatty acids in it 'do' work, but the question is how much is actually absorbed beneath the skin. It is difficult to tell. At least when Dutasteride comes, we...

    Folligen

The stinging and irritation you get with Folligen goes away with prolonged use and now I could use either Tricomin OR Folligen and not have any irritation at all. Both feel similar. The only difference is that Tricomin leaves the hair looking better but that doesn't mean it works better. Phase 2...

    Folligen

skipes, I agree with what you say. Tricomin definitely leaves the hair feeling softer and looking better. But you always get the feeling it is just a very expensive conditioner. Folligen leaves the hair more matted together but I do think Folligen does the scalp and hair more good. I don't...

    Hair Transplant

At 24 you are borderline too young for an hair transplant. But if you really want one, go to Dr Woods in Australia for 600 grafts. It'll cost you $7,000 but you'll have no scar and he's just about the best there is. DO NOT go anywhere for that amount of grafts where they will give you a donor scar. You do...
