Might be folliculitis, look into the subreddit. You could try out benzoylperoxide as a treatment. It helped me a lot with my inflamed, red, itchy scalp and pimples on scalp. I even had bald spots that looked similar to alopecia areata because of large inflamed pimples.

I started 10mg of MSM daily today. I am 30yo and NW2.5 and recently started to shed a bit all over my head. I also use 2.5ml of castor oil daily since a few weeks and 2 times 5% minoxdil per day (since a few years already)

so you think mixing the 660mg zinc sulphate and 150mg p5p with either 120ml or 60ml distilled water makes a difference? in theory when you mix it with only 60ml the concentration could be too high...

but the original formula is with 45ml of distilled water and 15 ml of ethanol isn't it?

But isnt it the zinc that interacts with minoxidil (and making it lose its effect)? So these guys wash their hair in the evening before they apply minoxidil? As far as I understood it there must not be any zinc residues on your scalp left before you apply minoxidil, so it would be better to apply Zix...

How do you guys combine Zix and topical minoxidil? Do you wash your hair beetween every application, so twice a day?

maybe try low dose oral minoxidil and Zix (to have at least a bit DHT reduction in the scalp)
