I'm using Prox-N and Dr. Lee's 5% spironolactone at the moment, but thinking of making a switch to Proxipnen, because it'll be easier to apply. I can't believe that you're getting Dr. Proctor's product after saying all those negative things about him! But anyway, good for you. I don't think most people would get the result like the photo on his website, but at least you know you're doing something good for your hair by using NANO...

No, you don't need a prescription. I buy my Nizoral from my local pharmacy, but I'm sure you can get cheaper Nizoral from ebay etc...

It won't really spread across other areas. It might be a little bit more easier if you have very short hair, but not with long hair. It is recommended to use 8-10 drops for Prox-N, but if you want to apply it all over your scalp, you probably need 15-20 drops. I'm not sure about Proxiphen...
