Hmmm, let me see, if a football team is unwilling or unable to sign someone like Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi then they’d best sign no-one at all? There is such a thing as a “trade-off†and when you refer to cost as a factor [on another thread] you seem to concede this.
[And as...
It's being shown live on Scottish Television [and possibly some lesser-resourced adjacent regions]. It's being played in Farjoland, but look without prejudice -- at Zenit St Petersburg manager Dick Advocaat's hair transplant. A laser job, but it inspired me to something better with Dr Rogers.
What's that...
Didn’t really intend to post again, but given all the recent adverse publicity for Rogers you might be interested to know that his website has had a revamp with a few more pics. I thought that the transformation to main hair gallery patient no. 3 seemed particularly remarkable. Never noticed...
Good to see your progress, Carter. I suppose if I’m being honest I thought the earlier pictures were a bit thin, so it’s good that you had the more recent one to put a different perspective on things. I think you said somewhere that you’d experienced relatively recent hair loss, so there...
"There are several people who have told their stories"
mmmm, Rumpelstiltskin?
But I'm not a "Rogers shill". There may be issues with his FUE. I don't know, because I was never remotely interested in researching FUE.
I noticed someone had harsh words to say about Dr Martinick...
Thought I'd go back on HairLossHelp for a last swipe at Farrel. His post had said he would ban me if I told lies. Perhaps he "knew" that in advance, because I was refused permission to log in. Seems that he revealed a little bit more of his true colours there.
Incidentally, have you noticed...
I can only say that in my experience a Rogers strip transplant does what it says on the tin. I have two fairly modest transplants of 1850 and 1367 grafts from Apr 2006 and Nov 2006 and the second [crown] one is now slowly maturing and reducing the scepticism that I had.
This thing has blown...
I picked up a copy of “The Big Issue†today and found that it included an interview with Scottish entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne, currently a pundit on “The Dragons' Denâ€.
Relevant extract goes something like this:
Q: You’re very open about your hair weave...
A: It’s not a weave...
Bumped to the top as Carter has returned. Interesting to see that we've both joined the Rogers Doubles Club. The second transplant is now nine weeks old . I'd swear that something is growing on the crown although it's probably impossible at this stage. Nothing cosmetically significant but...
I've been to Dr Rogers of Stratford. Still awaiting the full results, but certainly nothing freakish. (Also deserves credit for avoiding hard sell techniques.)
To the 'Celtic brothers': Scotland, unlike Ireland, seems to be a 'blasted heath' for hair transplant surgeons. Maybe if we go independent we'll...
Calling Whiskey [Tango Bravo] Carter, etc!
Remember you said that the end of the year would be an important time. So how are things? My first transplant is still see-thru but , to an unscientific eye, substantially better than at 4 months. As a former Norwood 5A I’m grateful to have anything to...
No doubt the reality of this is some way off, but here's today's "Sunday Times" take on extra funding for a new technique...

Fenugreek was one of the things I tried taking in a forlorn attempt to keep / revive my hair. But does anyone have any evidence -- anecdotal or scientific -- as to herbs, spices and other 'natural remedies' helping boost the quality / growth rate of young transplanted hair?
