My advice is not to start any medication at this stage. Just make sure to use a medical fda approved shampoo. If you have to start using minoxidil, dont apply it to your temples it will ruin them.

Minoxidil destroys the hairline, at least that what it did to me. Apply it to the crown only. Note that finasteride and min also cause initial sheds.
