Microneedling yeah. I assume you do it to boost collagen, and thereby also boost hair growth? I have tried topical minoxidil and it gave wanted hair growth (scalp) and unwanted hair growth on the skin of the face. I gave it up due to wrinkling. But microblading here, it's supposed to look like...

I have found some good ways. You can use Fotofinder once a year. See picture below. Let me know if you think Fotofinder is a bad idea, and also: do you do anything to measure hair loss at regular intervals? I will do this once or twice a year, to find out whether I need to hop on finasteride.

I got on minoxidil, and thankfully I've got new strands of hair north of an inch long. My scalp is also not so visible through the hair either. I quit minoxidil now after 4.5 months. So if I indeed had Telogen Effluvium, seems like it lasted couple months, given hair grows at about 1/2 inch a month...

I stopped using minoxidil today. Don't want to sacrifice skin to save hair. And the telogen effluvium that I might had has stopped. I no longer have plenty strands of hairs lying on my mattress. It's actually hard to find them, looking in my pillow area. So that's good, at least. Hopefully...

Isn't this a good thing? You want the DHT in the blood to remain high, and you want to not lose hair. For hair loss, physical evidence trumps theory. So if studies show it stops hair loss, great! If studies also show that DHT doesn't slump and people don't get sides, great!
