    Kthxbi's Story 16 MONTH UPDATE - (heavy nw2? finasteride/nizoral)

Hey all! I've not been on here in a long time and only today managed to get back into the email address I'm registered here with. By coincidence I'd very recently had a PM from abovedagame asking for an update & so that was on the first page of my like 10,000 unread emails! This is going to be...

2.5 months progress on finasteride & minoxidil, 32yo - Results!

agree, definitely looks to be filling in slightly. word of warning - month 4-5 is a hard one. that's a very frequent shedding phase for a lotta people. month 6 the results come back with a vengeance & stay that way. personally i've been thru a lot of sheds. had one shortly after the 1y mark...

35 yr old male, just started receding 2 years ago, can I stop this, or is it too late

Norwood 2, very high density. We don't know if he had the problems he complained of, whether they would have persisted or not or whether or not it was psychosomatic. We do know that a lot of people see good results from finasteride & from a traditional medical perspective it should be your...

I'm definitely above...

    does hair transplant permanently stay?

right, let's take a step back here. what exactly is it you think you're objecting to here? he's come to an internet forum asking advice of other regular folks. i am not an hair transplant Doctor, nor probably is any other regular user here. my opinion was not sold as gospel nor should it be taken as such. my...

    does hair transplant permanently stay?

a lot depends of course on the quality of the hair transplant you get and how well you respond. most people don't lose their donor hair nearly as quickly... however, if you don't start on antiandrogen like finasteride, you're going to lose the other hair at the same rate... meaning you'll have a very patchy crown...

    Just got my Dutasteride.

i don't know whether to wish you luck or to make note of this being maybe the most weirdly melodramatic opening posts of a thread i've seen on here ever. i'll just go with good luck i think.

the daily mail has made a great living out of being a disgusting publication read in large part by disgusting people. no big surprise.

24 and Reality is Setting In

I know you said you aren't going on any real meds right now, and sorry for being very brief and blunt but I'm writing this on a pretty old phone and it's a bit of a chore. If you aren't on any real dht blocking meds, as far as any research into male pattern baldness so far has shown, you ain't gunna keep your...

How many stayed on finasteride and had sides that eventually went away?

hi there, i can only speak for myself from my very limited experience of them. but as nobody else has replied yet i figure it might help a little at least. i've been on finasteride for... 3 years? maybe coming up to four now, i'm not sure. i had some minor sides for a few weeks when i very first started...

    Starting finasteride

sorry for a v. brief reply but am writing on my phone. cursedmen has it pretty spot on... only difference i'd say is to start on 1.25 a day rather than once a week. results are so slow anyway that i think you're a lot more likely to get disheartened than anything else with just 1 dose a week...

DEPRESSED. Doctor told me today I cant use finasteride .

HairLossTalk.com is, compared to some places at least, fairly pro-drugs when it comes to treatment... so you might get a little lopsided view of it here. but that aside, i'd say keep taking it, at least until going to see someone who is liable to actually have a clue. GPs in general (at least here in london)...
