I'm not ignoring your advice I just don't understand - - - Updated - - - Why am I shedding so many more hairs than I was before I had male pattern baldness? It's not just that I've noticed it more, it's definitely more frequent.

I'm not losing hair in "patches", I have male pattern baldness. Why are you still trying to play mass shedding off as normal? The amount of hair I am shedding is most certainly not "normal".

I'm confused. Everyone says male pattern baldness hairs are thin and light colored. Almost every hair I've lost has been long full and dark. I have noticed significantly more shedding of these long dark hairs since I got male pattern baldness. Why don't I remember this before I had male pattern baldness?

I lose at least 3 or 4 in the shower shampooing, and then around 5-10 after I get out. I gently pat my hair dry with a towel and then blow dry on cold. This happens regardless of how I dry my hair, if I air dry I can still run my hands through my hair and pull out at least 5 hairs. However...

Ok thanks. Should I steer clear of "thickening" shampoos "for fine/thinning hair"? Somehow that doesn't sound good for your hair.
